We’re partnering with a manufacturer in Duluth, GA that produces paper-based products for business customers. They’re looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.

You’ll handle a mix of troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment improvements. The role offers plenty of variety, with opportunities to work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while partnering closely with production staff.

Job Details

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements.

Diagnose issues with motors, drives, belts, chains, bearings, pumps, and related components.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs safely and efficiently.

Read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings to identify problems.

Assist with equipment installations, rebuilds, and modifications.

Communicate maintenance needs and repair updates to production personnel.

Document completed work and identify parts needed for repairs.

Follow safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience working with production machinery, motors, and pneumatic or hydraulic systems.

Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.

Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Ability to prioritize repairs and work independently or alongside a team.

Commitment to safe work practices and reliable attendance.

Preferred Experience

Printing, paper converting, envelope manufacturing, or packaging equipment.

Troubleshooting 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Welding, fabrication, machining, or equipment rebuilds.
