Use a CMMS or equivalent system to schedule work, manage work orders, track equipment history, and monitor maintenance performance.

Investigate recurring failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lasting solutions that improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, and improvement projects with production, engineering, contractors, and vendors.

Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Enforce safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and ensure maintenance work follows applicable regulations and site standards.

Track key maintenance metrics, communicate priorities, and identify opportunities to improve processes, costs, and team performance.

Ability to interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.

Experience with preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.

Working knowledge of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout and safe maintenance procedures.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a production environment.
