Job Details

We are seeking a motivated General Helper to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for learning and operating thread rolling equipment used to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.

Weekend shfit

5am to 530pm Friday to Sunday (12-HOUR SHIFTS and get comped 4 hours= 40) Overtime available Monday-Thursday

$20-$22 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate thread rolling machines and related production equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation. • Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and microscopes to verify part quality. • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance. • Monitor machine performance and report equipment or safety concerns promptly. • Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Follow quality management procedures, safety standards, and production requirements. • Accurately complete production records and manufacturing transactions. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. • Prior manufacturing, machine operator, or metalworking experience is a plus but not required. • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions. • Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
