A bit about us:

Based in the Century City area of Los Angeles, we are an established civil litigation firm representing sophisticated clients in complex disputes.

Our practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability, employment defense, director and officer liability, public entity liability, and general business and commercial litigation.

We are looking for an experienced Contract Litigation Attorney who can step into an active caseload and take ownership of written discovery while also assisting with substantive legal work.

This is not simply a document review position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable independently drafting discovery responses, researching legal issues, preparing motions and pleadings, and supporting attorneys across active litigation matters.

Contract Position

Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school plus:

3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience

California Bar admission in good standing

Strong experience drafting and responding to written discovery

Experience handling interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission

Ability to independently research and analyze substantive legal issues

Experience drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents

Ability to assist attorneys throughout the lifecycle of active litigation matters

Experience with discovery disputes, document production, and privilege issues preferred

Background in insurance defense, professional liability, insurance coverage/bad faith, employment defense, or commercial litigation preferred

Ability to independently manage assignments with limited supervision

Strong legal writing, research, organizational, and analytical skills
