Job Details
Bring your construction expertise to a role where you can take ownership, build lasting customer relationships, and see your work come to life. We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead modular building projects from initial planning through final delivery.
You’ll bring together the people, resources, and details that make each project successful - keeping schedules on track, managing costs, and ensuring finished work meets quality and safety expectations. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys a mix of planning, customer interaction, and time in the field.
What You’ll Do:
• Build practical project plans that define scope, milestones, resources, and delivery expectations. • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work moving smoothly. • Manage project budgets, monitor spending, and review invoices and payments for accuracy. • Visit project sites to evaluate progress, check workmanship, and confirm alignment with plans and specifications. • Serve as the customer’s main contact, providing updates, answering questions, and resolving concerns. • Monitor compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and site safety requirements. • Identify potential challenges early and develop solutions that protect schedules, budgets, and quality. • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while keeping stakeholders informed. • Build productive working relationships and maintain accountability throughout project delivery.
What You Bring:
• Approximately 5–10 years of project management experience in construction or a closely related field. • A bachelor’s degree or at least five years of relevant professional experience. • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors. • Familiarity with building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards. • Clear communication skills and confidence working with customers, construction site managers, and project teams. • A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to adjust when priorities change. • Strong organization and the ability to oversee several projects at once. • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office. • PMP certification is welcome but not required. • Experience with modular, prefabricated, or commercial building projects would be especially relevant.
What We Offer:
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Company-paid life, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability coverage. • A 401(k) plan with company match. • An employee stock purchase program with company match. • Tuition reimbursement. • Opportunities to participate in charitable fundraising and community volunteer initiatives.
Work Environment:
This position combines office-based work with project site visits. Site work may involve outdoor conditions, uneven surfaces, dust, noise, and required protective equipment. Extended workdays, occasionally up to 12 hours, may be necessary to meet project needs. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals.
