Job Details
We’re looking for a President & CEO to lead a well-established North American third-party logistics company through its next phase of growth. The business already has a strong foundation: a national freight brokerage operation, managed transportation, a warehousing and fulfillment network, and a growing cross-border presence between the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
You’ll set the vision and strategy and own full P&L responsibility. You’ll lead a seasoned executive team, grow profitably both organically and through acquisitions, and connect the company’s service lines so customers get one integrated supply chain partner.
What you’ll do:
Own the strategy, P&L and overall performance across brokerage, managed transportation, warehousing and fulfillment, and cross-border logistics
Set annual and long-range plans, budgets and KPIs, and report results to parent-company leadership / the board
Lead and develop the executive team across sales, operations, carrier relations, finance, technology and HR
Drive revenue and margin growth through new logos, key account expansion and cross-selling between service lines
Find, evaluate and integrate acquisitions that expand capabilities, geography and vertical expertise
Strengthen the cross-border platform and take advantage of nearshoring demand
Modernize technology, data and visibility tools to improve productivity, customer experience and carrier engagement
Keep a people-first, relationship-driven culture that holds on to customers and attracts top logistics talent
Represent the company with key customers, carrier partners and industry groups
What you bring:
15+ years in transportation and logistics, with at least 5 years in a President, CEO, COO, GM or division leadership role with full P&L ownership
A track record of scaling a freight brokerage or multi-service 3PL, growing revenue and EBITDA
Experience leading or integrating acquisitions
Strong commercial instincts, with enterprise shipper relationships and a record of building high-performing sales organizations
Operational depth in carrier management, capacity strategy and service excellence
Experience reporting to a board, private equity sponsor or parent-company executives
Cross-border (Mexico/Canada), warehousing or industrial/manufacturing vertical experience strongly preferred
A bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
