Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Quality Analyst (Alteryx) based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to support quality governance and operational excellence across large-scale healthcare and insurance programs. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, reliable, and audit-ready data workflows across Medicare and Retirement operations. You will collaborate closely with workflow developers, data specialists, and business stakeholders to validate requirements and maintain high-quality standards throughout the production lifecycle. Your work will focus on identifying potential risks, preventing defects, and strengthening quality control processes. You will also contribute to automating validation activities and improving operational efficiency through data-driven insights. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a regulated environment while working with advanced data tools and cross-functional teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Enforce the Quality Management Plan across new workflow development, change management activities, and ongoing production operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-deployment quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) validations, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, segmentation, suppression, and output integrity.
  • Validate workflow logic against CORD documentation and business requirements, ensuring all rules and data expectations are correctly implemented before production release.
  • Execute and document self-QA, peer-QA, and formal approval checkpoints before workflows are promoted to production.
  • Monitor production activities, track defects, conduct root cause analyses, and collaborate with developers and production support teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, including defects, fallout trends, rework, timeliness, and turnaround time (TAT), supporting performance objectives and leadership reporting.
  • Partner with workflow developers to streamline quality reviews, improve solutions, and minimize downstream defects and delivery delays.
  • Contribute to the automation of quality controls through standardized validation checks, Alteryx macros, and post-workflow dashboards.
  • Maintain audit readiness by ensuring all documentation, supporting evidence, and quality artifacts are accurate, complete, traceable, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with business owners, data teams, and platform partners to identify risks proactively and drive continuous quality improvement across operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, data validation, or analytics, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong hands-on Alteryx experience is mandatory, with the ability to validate complex data workflows and implement quality control processes.
  • Practical experience validating data workflows, reports, and ETL pipelines using Alteryx, SQL, SAS, or comparable technologies.
  • Solid understanding of data quality principles, testing methodologies, validation techniques, and defect management.
  • Experience working in production environments with established change management, release controls, and deployment procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and business requirements and translate them into effective validation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and potential risks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, document findings accurately, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Benefits:

  • Work arrangement: Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Contract duration: Initial engagement of 6+ months.
  • Career flexibility and growth: Opportunities to strengthen your expertise in data quality, healthcare analytics, and enterprise workflow management.
  • Technical exposure: Work with Alteryx and other data validation technologies in a large-scale healthcare and insurance environment.
  • Employee perks: Access to employee discounts.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
