Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior TA Operations Specialist based in the United States.

You will contribute to the implementation and testing of Workday for Talent Acquisition, ensuring a smooth transition and effective adoption across recruiting teams. You will also provide operational support for core recruiting platforms, including Greenhouse and ChartHop, resolving technical issues and improving system reliability. Working closely with recruiters, coordinators, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will identify process gaps and implement practical solutions. Beyond day-to-day troubleshooting, you will drive continuous improvement through process optimization, documentation, and training. This is an opportunity to influence the evolution of a growing Talent Acquisition function while building expertise in HR technology and systems leadership. Accountabilities

• Workday Testing and Implementation: Partner with the Workday project team and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to document business requirements, develop test scenarios, execute testing, track defects, and validate fixes.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing with recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and business partners, ensuring that systems and workflows are fully validated before go-live.

• Validate data accuracy and process integrations between Workday and other recruiting platforms, while supporting implementation planning, system cutover, training materials, and internal communications.

• Post-Implementation Support: Act as a primary escalation point for Workday-related questions and issues, resolving requests directly where possible and coordinating more complex cases with relevant technical teams.

• Gather user feedback, identify operational challenges, and recommend, test, and implement improvements to Workday processes and configurations.

• Maintain accurate process documentation, user guides, and job aids to reflect evolving system configurations and workflows.

• Core Recruiting Systems Management: Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across Greenhouse and ChartHop, particularly those affecting backfills, employee conversions, requisitions, and headcount alignment.

• Investigate data inconsistencies, synchronization issues, and system discrepancies, addressing root causes where possible and escalating complex issues with clear documentation.

• Manage support tickets and incoming requests, ensuring consistent service quality, effective prioritization, and timely resolution.

• Continuous Improvement: Monitor recurring system issues and user questions to identify underlying causes and opportunities for process, configuration, or training improvements.

• Collaborate with the enablement team to transform recurring support requests into effective training resources and user guidance.

• Help establish consistent operating procedures and encourage effective use of recruiting tools across the Talent Acquisition organization.

• Contribute to broader HR technology initiatives and process improvement projects as the organization's systems and operational needs evolve.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Operations, HRIS, recruiting systems administration, or a closely related field.

• Hands-on experience supporting applicant tracking systems and HR technology platforms, ideally including Workday, Greenhouse, and ChartHop.

• Experience participating in HRIS or ATS implementations, including requirements gathering, test planning, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and go-live support.

• Strong understanding of recruiting workflows and operational processes, including requisition management, headcount alignment, backfills, employee conversions, and data management.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and data-related issues, investigate system discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Experience managing support tickets, prioritizing requests, and delivering responsive and reliable internal customer support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize recurring patterns and translate findings into practical process improvements.

• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a changing environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical processes and explain system workflows to non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work cross-functionally with recruiters, coordinators, HR teams, technical specialists, and business stakeholders.

• A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven approach, with an interest in developing expertise in HR technology and leading larger systems and process improvement initiatives.

Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: Annual base salary ranging from $101,000 to $135,000 USD, depending on experience, education, technical skills, and other relevant factors.

• Equity Compensation: Competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time compensation packages.

• Comprehensive Benefits: Access to a competitive benefits package designed to support employees' health, well-being, and long-term needs.

• Healthcare Coverage: Medical and other employee benefits available at little to no cost, subject to the applicable benefits plan.

• Remote Flexibility: Remote working opportunity within the United States.

• Professional Growth: Opportunity to develop expertise in Workday implementation, recruiting technology, HR systems, and operational excellence.

• Career Development: Potential to progress toward leading larger HR technology projects, strategic initiatives, and Talent Acquisition process improvement programs.

• Meaningful Impact: Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven technology environment by helping build efficient, scalable, and reliable Talent Acquisition operations.
