Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Delivery Specialist based in the United States.

As a Project Delivery Specialist, you will coordinate and support the delivery of projects within a federal healthcare program focused on the Affordable Care Act (ACA). You will work closely with federal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs, policy requirements, and technical expectations into effective project outcomes. This role combines project coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and data analysis to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and in compliance with established standards. You will play a key role in monitoring project performance, identifying risks, and driving continuous process improvements. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful public-sector healthcare initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on autonomy, precision, and effective communication.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop high-quality project documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), project briefs, status reports, meeting minutes, and other professional deliverables.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret information to support project planning, decision-making, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Leverage Excel and other reporting tools to monitor project metrics, identify performance trends, highlight bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights.
  • Gather, document, communicate, and validate business, technical, and operational requirements with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities, manage communications, and monitor task progress, deadlines, and performance against established schedules.
  • Proactively identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, action items, lessons learned, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain structured project documentation and information repositories across Microsoft Teams and internal and external SharePoint environments, ensuring effective version control.
  • Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with applicable policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government representatives, technical teams, end users, IT support, and client services.
  • Support change management across multiple projects, anticipating and coordinating adjustments to technical requirements, business needs, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive innovation, recommend solutions to operational challenges, and proactively support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate configuration management and ensure deliverables are submitted accurately, on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including supporting or leading proposal preparation and identifying potential follow-on opportunities.
  • When required, represent project activities and provide technical or management support to customers, internal leadership, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates without a degree must have at least 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have maintained U.S. residency for at least the past three years.
  • At least five years of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote, as well as strong proficiency in SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships across different organizational levels and with external customers.
  • Strong organizational and task management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail, meticulous documentation practices, and reliable follow-through.
  • Solid analytical capabilities, including experience using Excel and SharePoint as primary tools for project reporting, tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Experience working directly with government customers to gather, interpret, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, combined with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines in a demanding environment while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with CMMI/AIMM processes and standards is an asset.
  • Additional qualifications considered an advantage include a Master's degree, PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification, and previous experience with the Affordable Care Act, grants coordination, or government contracts. Grants coordination experience is highly desirable, while government contracting experience is strongly preferred.

Please note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory education or experience requirements, citizenship criteria, and residency conditions will not be considered.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $78,400 to $103,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Fully remote working arrangement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
  • Full-time employment opportunity supporting meaningful federal healthcare initiatives.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exposure to complex public-sector projects, policy implementation, and healthcare program delivery.
  • Professional development opportunities through hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and process improvement.
