Accountabilities

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing technical services team, supporting both specialized Integration Consultants and Technical Solution Consultants.

• Act as a senior technical escalation point, using knowledge of Workday architecture and complex API capabilities to guide consultants through challenging integration scenarios.

• Participate directly in active integrations when needed, troubleshooting technical roadblocks, clarifying requirements, and defining practical solution paths.

• Identify recurring customer needs and evolve technical services offerings, determining which solutions can be standardized and where new capabilities are required.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Implementation teams to distinguish product gaps from service opportunities and establish clear ownership of complex technical challenges.

• Ensure customer commitments are technically feasible and commercially sound.

• Anticipate future team and capability needs, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen technical expertise and service delivery as demand grows.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in technical consulting, integration services, or technical implementations.

• At least 3 years of direct experience managing and scaling teams of technical professionals.

• Strong working knowledge of enterprise integrations, including Workday architecture, APIs, authentication, data mapping, and integration design.

• Ability to assess proposed technical solutions, identify risks, and guide consultants through complex implementation challenges.

• Experience translating technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences and executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success leading consultants responsible for high-volume portfolios of mid-sized and large enterprise customers.

• Strong project coordination and resource management skills, with the ability to balance team capacity across multiple concurrent implementations.

• Experience building and developing technical teams, anticipating capability gaps, and preparing services for future customer demand.

• Willingness and ability to engage directly with technical details, challenge proposed solutions, and help resolve complex integration issues.

• Confidence in defining technical approaches when project requirements change or customers need bespoke solutions.

• Strong leadership, ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment that requires adaptability, sound judgment, and continuous improvement.

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary, with compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and location.

• Equity opportunities.

• A 10-year stock option exercise window.

• Unlimited paid time off, with four weeks recommended annually.

• Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave for employees in the United States, with plans to expand availability to other countries as applicable.

• Generous budget for equipment, software, and home office furniture.

• $100 monthly education budget, with additional support for higher-cost learning opportunities such as conferences subject to manager approval.

• For US-based employees, health insurance coverage for employees and their dependents, with 100% of premiums covered.

• For US-based employees, a 401(k) plan with a 3% employer contribution.
