This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Finance Excellence Partner based in the United States.
The IT Finance Excellence Partner will help maximize the value of technology investments by strengthening financial transparency, service utilization, and operational performance. In this role, you will drive improvements across IT financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and service-provider collaboration. You will work closely with Finance, IT, commercial teams, and internal and external service providers to improve financial processes and resource allocation. Through data analysis, automation, and reporting, you will help identify opportunities to reduce waste, increase productivity, and optimize IT spending. You will also assess investment returns and translate financial insights into practical business improvements. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a global IT organization focused on digital transformation and continuous improvement. Accountabilities
In this role, you will strengthen IT financial management and improve collaboration across the service-provider ecosystem, ensuring that investments, resources, and service delivery generate measurable business value. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across IT finance receiver processes and the broader IT Partner organization.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecast-to-actual reconciliations, including service analysis, milestone planning, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and resources related to IT service providers and receivers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the U.S. Performance Controlling organization, establishing sustainable collaboration and information-sharing practices.
• Improve transparency into IT service utilization to reduce waste, increase productivity, and strengthen spending management.
• Collaborate with team members to automate financial and service-consumption data and develop visualizations for business units and IT Partner teams.
• Provide financial analysis for IT investments, including return-on-investment assessments and post-project operating expense projections.
• Work with IT Finance and commercial teams across the provider ecosystem to improve visibility into services, allocations, budget and forecast assumptions, and value generation.
• Translate financial insights and stakeholder feedback into actionable process improvements that enhance operational and commercial outcomes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong IT financial controlling expertise with service management experience and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex organizations. You should bring:

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in IT service management and financial controlling.
• Experience managing IT service delivery across multiple internal and external service providers.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives or projects that improve IT financial processes, service delivery, or operational performance.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Legal authorization to work permanently and continuously in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience implementing organizational change, redesigning processes, and building alignment across stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively without direct authority.
• Confidence communicating with executive-level stakeholders and collaborating across IT, Finance, commercial, and service-provider teams.
• Experience improving financial operations, service utilization, or commercial processes within an IT organization.
• Knowledge of IT investment analysis, including ROI assessments and operating expense projections.
• Experience with data automation and visualization for financial or service-consumption reporting.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work independently with limited oversight.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn feedback and ideas into practical improvements.
• An iterative approach to problem-solving and willingness to test new methods.
Benefits
• Fully remote work arrangement from a home office within the United States.
• Opportunity to contribute to global IT financial operations and digital transformation initiatives.
