As an Engineer III - Cloud, you will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and operating large-scale cloud systems that support advanced cybersecurity operations. You will join a distributed engineering team working closely with security analysts and technical stakeholders to build innovative solutions that help detect, investigate, and remediate cyber threats. Your work will directly contribute to protecting customers against sophisticated attacks while ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical services. You will help expand cloud-native capabilities, improve operational efficiency through automation, and leverage modern AI technologies to optimize workflows. Working in a highly collaborative and asynchronous remote environment, you will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to products that make a meaningful impact on global cybersecurity.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate directly with security analysts, advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational challenges and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Build reliable, high-performance, and scalable services capable of supporting complex, distributed systems and growing operational demands.
  • Develop and improve web services, data pipelines, and microservices that extend existing platform capabilities.
  • Strengthen service monitoring, observability, and system reliability by identifying potential issues proactively and implementing effective solutions.
  • Build automation tools and workflows to reduce repetitive operational tasks, improve engineering productivity, and increase team efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical services and maintain reliable 24/7 operations.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, share knowledge, provide feedback, and promote continuous improvement across the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Professional software engineering experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, with a willingness to work with Golang.
  • Experience working with existing software applications, established architectures, and complex technical environments.
  • Practical experience developing web services, data pipelines, and applications within a microservices architecture.
  • Working knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases, as well as messaging technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
  • Strong understanding of Linux programming fundamentals and experience developing distributed, scalable systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, cloud observability tools, Docker, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Ability to design and maintain reliable, performant, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and succeed in a remote environment where asynchronous communication is essential.
  • Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, combined with a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Additional assets:

  • Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Familiarity with modern AI technologies and experience integrating AI capabilities into software products.
  • Previous experience developing products or solutions within the cybersecurity domain.
  • A strong interest in automation, operational excellence, software reliability, and product quality.
  • A growth mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Experience mentoring colleagues, sharing technical knowledge, and supporting the development of other team members.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation: Annual base salary ranging from $120,000 to $185,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
  • Eligibility for additional performance-based bonuses and equity grants.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including health insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan with 401(k).
  • Competitive paid time off and vacation policies to support work-life balance.
  • Paid parental and adoption leave.
  • Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities for employees at every level.
  • Employee networks, regional communities, and volunteering opportunities that encourage connection and collaboration.
  • Flexible remote working arrangements within the United States.
