This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cybersecurity Architect based in United States.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, you will play a key role in strengthening enterprise security across corporate IT infrastructure, manufacturing operations, and industrial environments. You will design and implement comprehensive security architectures that protect critical systems while supporting business continuity and operational reliability. Working across network security, cloud infrastructure, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Operational Technology (OT), you will identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies. You will collaborate closely with IT, engineering, infrastructure, OT, and business stakeholders to establish security standards and align technical solutions with industry best practices. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy within a dynamic consulting environment focused on complex technology challenges. The position is fully remote within the United States, with an initial onsite requirement and occasional in-person visits.

Accountabilities

• Design and develop enterprise cybersecurity architectures aligned with organizational objectives, technical requirements, and recognized security best practices.

• Establish and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, policies, standards, reference architectures, and technical guidelines across corporate IT and industrial OT environments.

• Develop cybersecurity roadmaps and risk mitigation strategies to strengthen security maturity and address evolving threats.

• Collaborate with IT, OT, infrastructure, engineering, and business teams to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate security gaps, and implement appropriate technical controls.

• Design and oversee network security and cloud security solutions, ensuring effective protection of enterprise infrastructure and connected systems.

• Assess cybersecurity risks associated with Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Operational Technology (OT), industrial networks, and connected manufacturing devices.

• Balance security requirements with manufacturing production uptime, operational reliability, and business continuity.

• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend solutions that improve enterprise and industrial security capabilities.

• Ensure security architectures and practices align with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational risk management policies.

• Translate complex technical risks into clear architectural recommendations, priorities, and actionable guidance for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Support the development and implementation of security improvements while fostering collaboration across departments and technical teams.

• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and provide ongoing architectural guidance to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including enterprise security architecture, security engineering, or solution design.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity architecture, network security, cloud security, and infrastructure protection.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT), preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Experience designing enterprise security solutions, developing technical standards, and implementing security controls across complex IT and OT infrastructures.

• Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities, assess cybersecurity risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address applicable regulatory and industry security requirements.

• Understanding of industrial networks, connected devices, manufacturing systems, and the specific security challenges associated with operational technology.

• Ability to balance cybersecurity priorities with production uptime, operational continuity, and business requirements.

• Experience evaluating cybersecurity technologies and recommending solutions for enterprise or industrial environments.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT, OT, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the capacity to translate technical security concepts into practical recommendations.

• Strong analytical thinking, technical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a pragmatic, risk-based approach to cybersecurity.

• Adaptability and initiative, with the ability to work independently, manage evolving priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Current or future employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Ability to attend an initial onsite visit during the first week of the assignment, followed by occasional onsite visits as required. Candidates based in St. Louis, Austin, or New York City are preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

• Additional exposure to cybersecurity considerations for connected industrial devices, manufacturing technologies, and industrial network environments.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity risks affecting manufacturing supply chains and third-party industrial systems.

• Experience assessing and implementing emerging security technologies across enterprise IT and industrial environments.

• Previous experience in consulting or technology-focused environments involving complex client infrastructure and cybersecurity transformation initiatives.

Benefits:

• Estimated hourly compensation ranging from $95 to $105 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and work location.

• Potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commissions, and other incentive programs.

• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.

• 401(k) retirement plan.

• Paid time off.

• Fully remote working arrangement within the United States.

• Opportunities to work on complex cybersecurity architecture initiatives across corporate IT, manufacturing, and industrial environments.

• Exposure to enterprise technology modernization, cloud architecture, industrial security, and emerging cybersecurity solutions.

• Collaborative working environment with experienced technology professionals and opportunities to contribute to meaningful client projects.

• Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
