Original job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Application & AI Delivery Manager based in the United States.

The Application & AI Delivery Manager will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping the organization turn operational needs into effective technology solutions. This role combines business relationship management, solution discovery, delivery coordination, and hands-on AI expertise. You will guide initiatives from initial assessment and governance through implementation, adoption, and measurable business outcomes. Working closely with leaders and cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to improve processes, increase productivity, and deliver value through applications, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will also oversee the enterprise technology intake process, ensuring that proposed solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI requirements. This is an opportunity to shape how technology and AI are adopted across a remote, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead business-facing technology initiatives, coordinate solution delivery, and ensure that applications, automation, and AI capabilities deliver measurable value. Key responsibilities include:

•

Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders, acting as the primary point of contact for application, automation, and AI initiatives.

•

Lead discovery sessions, workflow assessments, requirements workshops, and stakeholder discussions to identify operational challenges and technology needs.

•

Advise business teams on suitable solutions, including existing enterprise applications, system enhancements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled capabilities.

•

Connect business stakeholders with application, AI, integration, data, infrastructure, and other technical teams to evaluate options and develop recommendations.

•

Define success criteria, adoption objectives, key performance indicators, business cases, and expected outcomes before initiatives begin.

•

Establish baseline measurements and value metrics to assess productivity improvements, cost avoidance, risk reduction, operational efficiency, and user experience.

•

Coordinate communication, training, and change management activities to support successful implementation and adoption.

•

Monitor implementation results and stakeholder feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and course correction.

•

Develop reporting on realized benefits, adoption trends, and business outcomes, providing leadership with visibility into technology initiative performance.

•

Own and continuously improve the enterprise application and AI intake process, serving as the primary entry point for new technology, automation, and AI requests.

•

Evaluate incoming requests and determine appropriate review and approval paths based on use cases, risks, and organizational requirements.

•

Coordinate application governance, vendor oversight, security architecture reviews, legal, privacy, procurement, and AI governance activities as needed.

•

Maintain intake standards, documentation, decision records, process metrics, stakeholder communications, the enterprise AI registry, and application portfolio inventory.

•

Coordinate approved initiatives from intake through implementation, adoption, and transition to operational ownership.

•

Establish delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risk assessments, and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with business and technical teams.

•

Facilitate collaboration across engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, vendors, and governance stakeholders.

•

Support testing, pilot programs, deployment readiness, go-live planning, and post-implementation stabilization.

•

Track progress, remove delivery obstacles, escalate risks, and maintain clear ownership throughout the solution lifecycle.

•

Identify opportunities to streamline governance and delivery processes, standardize practices, encourage technology reuse, and reduce unnecessary duplication.

•

Develop and maintain process documentation, templates, decision frameworks, and performance metrics.

•

Stay informed about emerging technologies, enterprise applications, automation opportunities, and AI advancements relevant to organizational needs.

•

Perform other duties as assigned and comply with applicable policies and standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong business partnership and technology delivery experience with practical expertise in building and deploying AI solutions.
