JEL Transport is a locally-owned courier service supporting NuMed Pharmacy in Spartanburg, SC, delivering to nuclear medicine departments throughout the Upstate and western North Carolina. We're hiring a few reliable, responsible part-time couriers to join a fun, welcoming team.

Position Overview

The Courier/Driver is responsible for the timely, safe delivery of radiopharmaceutical doses from NuMed Diagnostics pharmacy/lab to nuclear medicine departments at hospitals and outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities

-Pack cases for transport with accurate DOT paperwork

-Transport doses and shielding to client sites and back to the pharmacy

-Sanitize and survey vehicles/equipment for contamination

Schedule

-Up to 30 hours/week; schedule varies based on need

-6-hour weekday shifts, starting anytime between 2:00 AM-10:00 AM

-Rotating weekend/holiday on-call rotation

Physical Requirements

-Ability to lift and carry shielding and transport cases (ability to lift up to 50 lbs)

-Ability to sit and drive for extended periods

-Ability to frequently enter and exit the vehicle throughout a shift

Additional Requirements

-Valid driver's license in good standing with a good driving record
