1st-3rd Grade Class Teacher

Jamestown Elementary School District is accepting internal applications for a 1st/2nd Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position provides a high-quality instructional program for primary grade students in a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Position Summary The selected candidate will deliver standards-based instruction, support the academic and social-emotional development of students, and collaborate with colleagues, families, and administration to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas
• Implement positive classroom management and PBIS-aligned practices
• Use student data to inform instruction and support growth
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
• Communicate regularly with families

Qualifications

• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or intern eligible
• English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent)
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive school culture

Compensation

• Salary Range: $51,090-$76,900
• Benefits Package: $11,650
• Master’s Stipend: $2,000
• Combination Class Stipend: $1,500 (if applicable)
