About Local Station Local Station is a contemporary Southern kitchen and bar rooted in the flavors of Northeast Georgia. We serve seasonal, locally inspired food and handcrafted cocktails in a warm, upscale casual setting. We are part of Jack’s Brand Restaurant Group, a family-owned hospitality company with five concepts across the region.

The Opportunity The host stand is the first impression - and at Local Station, we take that seriously. We’re looking for a Host or Hostess who is warm, composed, and genuinely excited to welcome guests from the moment they walk through the door. You don’t need a long resume, but you do need to bring a great attitude, a professional presence, and the ability to stay organized when things get busy.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism
• Manage the waitlist and reservation system, communicating accurate wait times
• Seat guests efficiently while supporting service flow and section balance
• Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area
• Communicate clearly with servers and management throughout service
• Assist with light tasks during slower periods to support the team

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a front-of-house, retail, or customer-facing role preferred
• A warm, polished demeanor and genuine enjoyment of working with people
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure
• Clear, professional communication - in person and over the phone
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to representing the restaurant well
• Comfortable with reservation software; experience with Resy is a plus
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

• Pay: $12 – $14 per hour, based on experience
