We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to be the primary point of contact for NSI’s key inspection services accounts, growing revenue by helping customers solve their toughest engineering and quality problems with industrial CT and X-ray imaging. You will guide customers through advanced scanning projects, partner with NSI’s world-class technical experts, and shape how organizations across aerospace, medical devices, energy, defense, and manufacturing use imaging. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn deeply, think creatively, and build relationships that last.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Account Leadership:

- Identify new opportunities, strengthen long-term relationships, and expand adoption of NSI’s full suite of CT, X-ray, and inspection services.
Technical Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Partner with customer engineering and quality teams to understand their inspection challenges, then work with NSI applications engineers and technicians to scope scanning approaches, define deliverables, and prepare accurate quotes.
Customer Experience & Project Support
- Oversee customer visits during scanning projects and ensure seamless support from kickoff through final results.
- Travel up to 50% to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally.
Sales Planning & Business Impact
- Develop and execute annual sales plans, maintain an accurate pipeline, and forecast, and deliver quarterly progress updates to leadership.
- Contribute to technical documentation, manuals, and work instructions that support continuous improvement.
Secondary Responsibilities ·
- Adhere to NSI’s waste management and recycling policies.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, business development, or complex solution sales
- Experience with industrial CT, digital radiography, NDT, or metrology services strongly preferred
- Proven history of growing key accounts and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to interpret technical information, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with software applications and computer systems, including CRM tools
- High attention to detail, independent decision-making, and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one) for international travel
- Willingness to complete NSI-provided specialized technical training
People Who Thrive Here:
- Naturally curious and energized by learning new technologies
- Comfortable navigating technical conversations with engineers and operators
- Skilled at building trust and long-term customer partnerships
- Motivated by solving real-world problems with cutting-edge imaging tools
