Ithaca School District is looking for a Elementary Music Teacher for the 26-27 School Year. This position can be a part time position however if you are willing to take on more it can become a fulltime position with benefits. Here at Ithaca we are looking for someone to build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ithaca community. Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handles confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.This position requires, but is not limited to the following:Wisconsin Certification #1515 General Music or equivalent.Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
