The Collector Associate has three categories of job responsibilities:
- Specimen Collection Duties-defined as:
- Identification of Pts to receive urine drug testing (UDT)
- Completion of Test Requisition according to Capstone “INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING A TEST REQUISITOIN”
- Entering of completed Test Requisitions into the LIS (Laboratory Information System)
- Collection of specimens
- Labeling of specimens
- Packaging of specimens
- Mailing of specimens
- Daily transmittal of Account/Pt Daily Tracking Sheet
- Daily tracking of outstanding test results
- Administrative Duties
- Biweekly submission of Time Sheet
- Planned time off. Provide two week notice to Account Executive of planned time off.
- Supplies Inventory. Ensure office is stocked with adequate amount of supplies-order 7 days before supplies will run out.
- Good Will Ambassador
- Promote the ideals of professionalism and quality between Capstone Diagnostics and the physician office.
