Job Type: Full Time | Location: Texas | Department: Construction | Reporting to: Vice President, Construction | Work Location Type: #hybrid

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.

Reporting to the Vice President, Construction, the Director, QA/QC owns construction quality across IREN's Texas campuses. The role builds and leads the QA/QC program for our hyperscale builds, from inspection and test plans through equipment startup, integrated systems testing and commissioning, so that every building is delivered to design intent, code and IREN standards. It works daily with general contractors, trade partners, commissioning agents and the Construction, Engineering and Operations teams, and reports quality performance and risk to executive leadership.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

  • Ability to communicate quality performance and risks clearly to executive leadership
  • Based in Texas, on site with travel up to 50% between Childress, Sweetwater and future IREN sites
