BBL Associate - Forklift Operator 1st shift

The BBL Forklift Driver supports bone broth production by safely moving raw materials, ingredients, packaging, finished product, and waste. This position keeps production supplied, maintains material traceability, and helps keep the department clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver bones, meat, ingredients, and other supplies to designated production areas according to the production schedule.
• Remove finished product, empty containers, pallets, and waste promptly to prevent production delays.
• Verify material identification, lot numbers, quantities, and designated storage locations before moving materials.
• Follow inventory rotation requirements and keep released, held, and rejected materials properly separated.
• Complete required material movement records and promptly report shortages, damaged materials, labeling issues, or temperature concerns.
• Perform and document forklift inspections before use. Report equipment defects immediately and remove unsafe equipment from service.
• Operate safely around pedestrians, equipment, doorways, and wet floors. Maintain clear aisles, emergency exits, and access to safety equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination between raw materials and finished product.
• Maintain clean, orderly staging and storage areas, including proper pallet stacking.
• Communicate with production, warehouse, QA, and sanitation to support material flow and shift handoffs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within training and authorization.
