Facilities/Maintenance Technician

Education, Training and Experience - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent - Previous similar experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to work as a part of a team - Good interpersonal and communication (spoken/written) skills; ability to positively motivate and influence people - Possess good manual dexterity and be able to perform repetitive tasks - Ability to learn new repair tasks quickly - Ability to follow established procedures and maintain a steady output - Be able to lift, stoop, bend and perform various other physical activities throughout the day, which may include some heavy lifting at times - Highly reliable with demonstrated record of accomplishment Duties and Responsibilities - Primarily responsibilities include but are not limited to; - Clean the interior of the building including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls - Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, phones - Clean and maintain restrooms - Clean and maintain breakroom including refrigerators, microwaves, coffee pots, etc. - Empty trash - Stock and maintain supply areas, making sure supplies are ordered when needed - Vacuum, sweep and mop floors - Wash and clean windows and mirrors - Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions - Other duties as assigned - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Properly store and maintain parts, tools, test equipment and documentation - Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and meet daily assigned goals - Flexibility to work 1^st^ or 2^nd^ shift as demands increase/decrease Employment Eligibility Verification Must possess valid documentation to establish identity and U.S. employment eligibility Security Requirements Submission to, and ability to pass, a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State or District Lottery and Intralot, Inc. is a requirement of employment.
