Workplace Experience& Events Intern
THE OPPORTUNITY
At IntraCare, a value-based healthcare organization serving Texas and Arizona, great workplace experiences come from both thoughtful ideas and excellent follow-through. This internship brings those together: employee appreciation, events, office coordination, hospitality and day-to-day administrative systems. You will learn alongside the HR and Office Operations teams, help with supervised projects and routine coordination, and contribute ideas to improve how colleagues experience the workday. This is a hands-on educational opportunity, not a standalone office-management position.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
01 EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION & ENGAGEMENT
- Maintain birthday, work-anniversary and employee-recognition calendars; prepare reminders and milestone lists.
- Help choose and order approved employee gifts, coordinate deliveries, and track recognition requests.
- Draft employee appreciation messages, milestone shout-outs and Teams announcements for review and posting.
- Support team recognition, celebrations, morale initiatives and activities that help employees feel included.
02 MEETINGS, CATERING & EVENTS
- Assist with Outlook scheduling, calendar invitations, conference-room reservations and meeting coordination.
- Coordinate catering requests: menus, headcounts, dietary needs, approved orders, delivery timing and vendor follow-up.
- Prepare meeting materials, handouts, name cards, supplies, refreshments, signage and basic room arrangements.
- Help set up and reset conference rooms before and after meetings, including organization and cleanup.
- Support employee lunches, training sessions, team gatherings, holiday celebrations and other corporate events.
03 OFFICE ADMINISTRATION & COMMUNICATIONS
- Print, scan, copy, assemble, organize and file business documents in physical or approved digital folders.
- Help sort, prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and office deliveries.
- Update simple spreadsheets, contact lists, checklists, trackers and administrative records with guidance.
- Assist with routine employee administrative requests, internal communications and office project follow-ups.
