Position: Civil Project Designer Worksite: 220 E. Central Parkway, Suite 4000, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 Job duties: Work under supervision of licensed PE. Oversee, train & review work of CAD drafter(s) in the production & design of project drawings for commercial civil site work. Manage development of construction documents. Lead & coordinate all aspects of design, including storm water conveyance systems, utility systems, site grading, roadway & overall on & off-site improvements. Design above & underground utility systems, including water, sanitary sewer, gravity, storm water collection, gas, electric & communication lines. Perform QA/QC review of drawings. Serve as primary point of contact for clients & maintain client satisfaction. Update & maintain status reports. Coordinate with internal & external cross‐functional teams to incorporate necessary information into project documents. Coordinate with AHJ Staff regarding comments & resubmittals. Assist in construction administration, including shop drawing review & responses to RFIs. Manage multiple projects & maintain project schedules. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its foreign educational equivalent in Civil Engineering and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in a related position involving using AutoCAD, designing utility & gas systems, supervising CAD Drafters, QC review & servicing construction administration.
