Position Overview

International Motors is seeking a Sales Enablement Learning & Performance Manager to help our dealer and field sales teams turn product knowledge into stronger customer conversations and commercial results.

Within Commercial Marketing and Sales Enablement, you will partner with sales leaders, dealers, product teams, marketing and subject matter experts to translate complex information into practical learning, sales tools and reinforcement that sellers can use in the flow of work. You will help shape onboarding, major product launches and ongoing capability development while ensuring solutions are relevant, field-tested, easy to use and worth the time we ask sellers to invest.

The ideal candidate combines deep instructional design expertise with performance consulting, commercial judgment and strong relationship skills. You should be equally comfortable interviewing a dealer salesperson, facilitating alignment across subject matter experts, developing a digital learning experience and presenting a concise recommendation to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with business partners to diagnose performance challenges. Clarify the business objective, audience, desired behaviors and measures of success, and distinguish knowledge or skill gaps from communication, process, tool, access, reinforcement or change-management needs.
  • Recommend the right enablement solution for the problem. Determine when formal training is appropriate and when a job aid, sales tool, video, manager resource, communication, coaching, practice opportunity or other intervention would better support performance.
  • Translate complex product, technical and solutions information into customer and commercial value. Connect product capabilities to customer needs, business outcomes, competitive differentiation, proof points and practical sales conversations that help sellers communicate why the solution matters.
  • Design and develop high-quality sales enablement experiences and resources. Create onboarding, product-launch learning, digital learning, instructor-led programs, videos, sales scenarios, assessments, job aids and reinforcement activities. Facilitate programs when appropriate.
  • Design for application, not content consumption. Create realistic opportunities for sellers to practice customer conversations, apply knowledge, handle objections and build confidence using situations that reflect how selling happens in the field.
  • Design enablement for the flow of work. Understand and curate existing resources before creating new content, connect related tools and learning, reduce unnecessary duplication and help make the right guidance easy for sellers to find and use when they need it.
  • Partner in product launches and strategic initiatives. Identify enablement milestones, source-content dependencies, validation requirements and field-readiness risks, and raise gaps early with practical recommendations for keeping work moving.
  • Navigate a complex, cross-functional organization effectively. Identify the right stakeholders and decision makers, establish clear roles, obtain necessary alignment and approvals, and resolve competing feedback without allowing unnecessary review cycles to delay delivery.
  • Own projects from discovery through implementation and evaluation. Establish scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies and review points; communicate progress clearly; and surface risks with recommended solutions.
  • Present concise recommendations to leaders and business partners. Clearly explain the business need, proposed approach, tradeoffs, risks and decisions required, adapting communication to the audience and incorporating feedback constructively.
  • Maintain quality and relevance without allowing perfection to become a barrier to value. Apply appropriate review and validation standards while making practical decisions about the depth, format and timing required for the business need.
  • Define success measures before development begins. Use available quantitative and qualitative evidence to assess participation, sales readiness, practical application, behavior change and business impact, and continually improve content and delivery based on what is learned.

Minimum Requirements

We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting a dealer or distributor network, B2B sales organization, field sales organization or commercial vehicle business.
  • Experience developing sales enablement for major product launches, complex products or solutions, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience designing sales onboarding and ongoing capability-development programs that combine formal learning with reinforcement, coaching and performance support.
  • Experience with learning management and sales enablement platforms, including organizing and curating content so users can locate resources in the flow of work.
  • Experience developing instructional or enablement videos using tools such as Vyond, Camtasia or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience incorporating emerging learning technologies, simulations or AI-enabled practice into broader learning experiences while maintaining practical field relevance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, instructional design, education or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
