Position Overview
International Motors is seeking an Application Analyst Lead specifically assigned to 2nd shift operations to support the reliability, stability, and performance of manufacturing applications used across our shop-floor operations. This position is dedicated to providing application support during 2nd shift to ensure operational continuity and timely resolution of production-related issues. While Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will be a primary area of focus, this role will support a broader portfolio of applications and technologies critical to production, serving as a key point of coordination for application-related issues throughout the 2nd shift.
This role will act as a front-line application leader for the plant, with the primary objective of keeping production moving. The Application Analyst Lead will develop broad knowledge across the plant’s manufacturing application landscape, enabling them to quickly assess issues, identify business and production impact, coordinate troubleshooting, and engage the appropriate support teams when deeper technical expertise is required.
Working closely with End User Support, MES teams, enterprise application support teams, infrastructure teams, business partners, and plant operations, this position will help bridge the gap between production and technology during 2nd shift. The role will coordinate incident response, drive escalation when necessary, communicate status to plant stakeholders, and ensure appropriate follow-through through resolution or transition to the responsible support organization.
This is an opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving problems across multiple technologies. The ideal candidate does not need to be the deepest technical expert in every application, but should have the curiosity, technical aptitude, leadership presence, and operational awareness necessary to connect the dots, bring the right resources together, and keep the plant running.
General Posting statement for salaried night shift roles:
As International Motors continues to grow in San Antonio, we are expanding our production operations with the introduction of a night production shift. The night shift is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with production planned to begin in early 2027. This is a salaried position supporting a manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule aligns with the designated production shift, employees are expected to provide operational support as needed to meet business objectives. This may require working outside normal production hours, including extended shifts, production startup activities, recovery efforts, and occasional weekend support based on operational requirements.
Shift Differential: 10% differential upon transitioning to Night Shift work schedule.
