General Laborer

CLASSIFICATION: General Laborer SHIFT: Must be Shift Flexible. 1^st^ shift- 7am-3pm, 2^nd^ shift 3pm-11pm, 3^rd^ shift- 11pm- 7am NUMBER OF OPENINGS: Varies SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist is the manufacturing process of OEM parts. - Maintain A high regard for safety practices, and follow all safety regulations, including wearing required PPE - Assure that quality standards are being met following all quality guidelines. - Maintain Clean and Organized workspaces, including routine 5S standards, TPM cards, and routine housekeeping procedures for area and equipment - Work as a team to Ensure production targets are met (85% or greater OEE) - Ensure that you are following the standardized work methods (work instructions) - Continue training, follow SOP, and acknowledge quality Alerts to meet production standards - Coordination of line startup/stoppage - Completion of all required documentation for shift as directed - Follow all quality alerts and PPCR's: ensure that all associates have signed off. - Ensure that quality checks are completed QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred - Ability to Learn and follow both written and verbal direction - Basic Math Skills (Ability to add, subtract, and multiply) - Understand Verbal and Written Communication - Good interpersonal skills - Mechanical Aptitude / Ability is beneficial - Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times in a shift - Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic machinery operation, and quality monitoring - Ability to troubleshoot using standard problem-solving techniques. - Stand for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive tasks - Willingness to work in various weather conditions or noisy environments - Ability to wear required PPE, including but not limited to; Safety Glasses, Safety toed footwear, and hearing protection. - Able to work overtime and stand 8-12 hours per day on cement**.**
