Facilities Technician

Role: Facilities Technician Duration: Contract to hire Location: Fayetteville, GA Pay rate: $28/hr. on W2.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily rounds and visual inspections throughout the data center facility.
• Monitor equipment conditions and record operational readings and observations.
• Check for leaks, equipment deficiencies, loose connections, and other potential issues.
• Maintain daily inspection logs, checklists, and equipment condition reports.
• Document preventive maintenance activities, completed tasks, deficiencies, readings, and recommendations.
• Identify equipment issues and submit service tickets to manufacturers, installers, or vendors for corrective action.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a data center, critical facilities, facilities maintenance, or building operations environment.
• Basic understanding of data center infrastructure and how critical facility systems operate.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to recognize equipment issues and abnormalities.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including chillers, UPS systems, HVAC, and electrical equipment.
