Job Summary:

Healthfirst is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role focuses on ETL development, AWS data services, and CI/CD-driven deployments to support enterprise analytics and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS services
• Build and manage data workflows using AWS Glue and Python
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions
• Work with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift for data storage and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
• Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across pipelines
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and production support

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer
• Hands-on expertise with AWS Glue
• Advanced Python programming skills
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift
• Proven ETL development experience
• Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment (NYC)
