Location: Los Angeles/Burbank, CA

Duration: 12+ months long term project

Compensation: $90-95.00/hr.

Description: The Identity and Access Management Engineering team is hiring talented contributors for innovative projects that will help power and secure our businesses and guest experiences. Team & Role Description:

The Sr. Software Engineer will implement applications and user interfaces for Identity and Access Management Engineering, and is an expert in the tools, processes, and technologies (both proprietary and third party) used by the IAM team. They take an active role in liaising with other Project Constituents and contributors, both internal and external, to set and maintain UI/UX standards and best practices through mentorship, evangelism of standards and best practices, and review and approval of code. The Senior Software Engineer is also responsible for the architecture of software internals, efficient and expeditious debugging, and the contribution of code that meets the standards and expectations of the role: being performant, secure, accessible, well documented, testable, and sustainable.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Works closely with product owner, architects, developers, quality, reliability engineers and other team constituents to design, implement, and deliver software user interface solutions according to story definitions.
• Works with Engineering Manager, Technical leads and Architects to follow and influence best practices for Software Development within the Identity and Access Management Engineering team.
• Interacts with other service delivery groups within Enterprise Technology and across the company to support and deliver IAM capabilities.
• Performs peer code reviews for compliance, security, performance, and best practices.
• Responsible for developing, enacting, and enforcing documentation, coding, process, security and performance standards.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Experience working with REST APIs or GraphQL for building and consuming web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and their core services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2).
• Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with build and deployment technologies such as Docker, Gitlab-CI, and Terraform/Cloud formation
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise with full lifecycle of application development, including best practices of unit testing, code reviews, documentation, etc.
• Expertise with secure development practices and methodologies.
• Experience with a wide range of data store technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, Neptune, and DynamoDB
• Expertise with Agile methodologies and delivering solutions through sprint planning activities
• Team player with strong oral and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, GitHub/GitLab, Confluence, etc.
• 2+ years of experience working with Identity and Access Management systems
• Experience integrating services with IAM platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk etc.
• Familiarity with sensitive data handling such as GDPR, PCI and PII, Safe Harbor

Education: BS or BA degree in Computer Science or comparable field of study, or equivalent work experience
