Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a top healthcare and life sciences client in Burlington, NC. This candidate will primarily support shipping operations while being cross-trained across receiving and general warehouse functions. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, operating RF scanners, processing FedEx and UPS shipments, managing inventory, handling returned IT equipment, and communicating shipment information through Outlook. The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, is comfortable working with technology, and is eager to learn additional functions within the operation. Forklift certification is not required, as training and certification can be provided onsite. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with the intent to convert the successful candidate to a permanent employee.

Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience, including receiving, picking, packing, and/or shipping
• Experience picking and completing orders using an RF scanner/scanning gun
• Basic Outlook/email skills with the ability to communicate professionally via email
• Basic computer/data-entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and become certified onsite Comfortable loading, unloading, packing, and moving warehouse inventory
• Previous forklift experience or certification
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• FedEx and/or UPS shipping terminal experience
• PeopleSoft experience
• Oracle/Oracle Cloud experience Previous shipping and receiving experience
