Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience leading enterprise QA, testing, or quality engineering initiatives. Recent experience with UKG Pro WFM, UKG Dimensions, Kronos Dimensions, or Kronos Workforce Central (WFC). Experience leading and owning testing for a UKG/Kronos implementation, migration, or upgrade, rather than participating solely as a tester or business user. Experience or strong working knowledge of TestAssure or other AI-enabled/intelligent testing and automation tools is strongly recommended. Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end testing, including SIT, UAT, regression, integration, data migration, payroll validation, and go-live readiness. Strong workforce management and payroll testing experience, including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, pay rules, time and attendance, payroll, and/or payroll integrations. Strong test program management experience, including ownership of testing plans, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, defect management, vendor coordination, and status reporting. Experience leading testing across business, technical, HR, payroll, vendor, and implementation teams on large-scale enterprise programs.

Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a senior Program Quality Engineering Lead / End-to-End Testing Manager to support a large-scale global workforce management transformation. This person will own the overall end-to-end testing effort for a Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) enhancement and upgrade, combining deep testing leadership with strong program and project management skills. The ideal candidate has personally led complex workforce management testing programs and can coordinate testing across business teams, technical teams, payroll, HR, software vendors, and implementation partners. Experience with TestAssure or other AI-enabled testing and automation tools is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Testing Leadership
- Own the integrated test strategy, master test plan, testing schedule, resources, entry/exit criteria, and overall testing governance.
- Lead testing across functional/QA testing, SIT, UAT, payroll validation, data migration, regression, and deployment readiness.
- Manage testing from initial planning through execution, defect resolution, retesting, and final readiness.
- Establish risk-based testing approaches and ensure appropriate coverage of critical business and payroll scenarios. UKG Pro WFM / Kronos Validation
- Lead quality assurance across UKG Pro WFM functionality, including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, pay rules, workflows, integrations, reporting, security, and payroll-impacting outputs.
- Ensure successful validation of the transition and enhancements from Kronos WFC to UKG Pro WFM.
- Coordinate testing across workforce management, HR, payroll, and downstream integrations. Program & Project Management
- Build and manage testing timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate across internal business and technical teams, UKG, testing partners, and other vendors.
- Lead test readiness reviews, status meetings, executive reporting, quality gates, and escalations.
- Identify testing risks early and drive teams toward resolution. Automation & AI-Enabled Testing
- Partner with TestAssure or comparable testing platforms to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Drive reusable automation for functional testing, payroll comparison, retesting, and regression testing.
- Help determine which scenarios should be automated versus manually tested.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing capabilities where appropriate while maintaining appropriate validation and controls. Defect & Quality Management
- Own integrated defect management, including intake, triage, prioritization, retesting, closure, and residual-risk tracking.
- Maintain requirements-to-test-to-defect traceability and testing evidence.
- Use quality metrics to communicate test coverage, defect trends, payroll variances, automation progress, and overall deployment readiness.
