TSSCI DevOps Storage Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

-TSSCI Clearance -Proven experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise SAN, NAS, and unified storage platforms -Deep knowledge of block and file protocols including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB/CIFS. -Automating storage provisioning, lifecycle tasks, and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible, backed by scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell -Leveraging Kubernetes Container Storage Interface (CSI) drivers, storage classes, and dynamic volume provisioning. -Linux systems administration skills (Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience designing and managing S3-compatible cloud and software-defined object storage solutions -Embedding automated storage tests and provisioning workflows into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and managing storage declarations via GitOps workflows -Familiarity with telemetry and observability stacks to track storage metrics, monitor SLA thresholds, and build automated forecasting models for capacity planning. -Industry certification - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Solutions Architect, etc

Job Description

A client in the Chantilly, VA area is seeking a TSSCI DEvops Storage Engineer professional in support of a federal project.

Candidates will be onsite 5x a week in Chantilly, VA. Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance - candidates will be submitted for additional security screening after a successful interview and must pass a customer BG check.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex storage infrastructures to maintain a secure, performant, and available solution. There will be needed knowledge of Linux concepts, RAID, major vendors like Dell, EMC, NETAPP, or NPE nimble, along with proven ability to deploy, configure, and manage storage area networks and network attached storage solutions
