Test Technician

Required Skills & Experience

· Possess strong troubleshooting and repair skills of electronics.

· Experience with various electronic measuring devices such as:

§ network analyzers § digital voltmeters § spectrum analyzers § Oscilloscopes § function generators · Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings. · Be familiar with standard manufacturing practices and procedures. · Possess good verbal and written communication skills. · Possess good computer skills: Word processing, (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works), Spreadsheets, (Microsoft Excel preferred) · Working knowledge of PC operating systems (Windows 10 preferred). · A minimum of A.S.E.E.T. degree in electronics technology or equivalent experience · Two years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with both analog and digital circuits is a plus

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Execution of test procedures for highly complex RF/Microwave boards and instruments. · Collection, analysis and archiving of data in a logical format. · Accurately describing and documenting failures and issues that arise during the execution of processes. · Communicate and report issues and observations to design and test engineers. · Debugging test setups and failing boards. · Prepares Status Reports as Needed. · Provides Technical Support and feedback to Fellow Employees and other Departments. · Ensures External and Internal Customer Satisfaction. · Contributes to Team Effort. · Must be self-motivated, team oriented, “hands-on”, and work with minimal supervision
