• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with content management systems and version control tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Writer to support a project for a large utility client here in Houston, Texas. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation that helps users understand complex products, systems, and processes. This individual will work closely with engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into easy-to-understand user manuals, technical guides, online help content, and training materials. Additional responsibilities include editing and proofreading documentation for accuracy and consistency, organizing content for usability and easy navigation, ensuring adherence to established style guidelines, and updating documentation as products, systems, and requirements change.
