Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
CMH is looking for a data center technician to support their operations teams in rack deployment, and fiber installation activies. No previous data center or technical experience is required but one year would be nice. On the job training is required/provided.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the receiving and positioning of server racks
- Assisting with basic fiber batching and deployment activities
- Monitoring third-party vendors to ensure work is completed correctly and according to process
- Following documented workflows, procedures, and safety requirements
- Communicating issues or discrepancies to the appropriate technical team
- Performing light hands-on work with limited heavy physical labor
