Job Description
This is a senior delivery-focused project management role leading complex enterprise cybersecurity initiatives. The person will convert cybersecurity priorities into executable plans, coordinate technical and business teams, manage vendors, budgets, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting, and drive initiatives through rollout, adoption, and transition to support. This is not an engineering design-owner role; it requires enough cybersecurity knowledge to coordinate experts, challenge execution gaps, and communicate clearly with leadership.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Turn cybersecurity priorities into project plans, milestones, accountable owners, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
- Manage scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, commitments, and competing priorities across workstreams.
- Coordinate technical and business teams, vendors, implementation activities, testing, remediation, rollout, adoption, operational readiness, and transition to support.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, or another delivery approach based on the initiative.
- Remove execution barriers and escalate decisions or unresolved issues to leadership when needed.
- Support initiatives across security platforms, exposure management, cloud and infrastructure security, IAM, attack surface management, and cyber risk reduction.
- Maintain dashboards and executive updates covering progress, milestones, risks, remediation, dependencies, decisions, outcomes, and required actions.
- Translate complex cybersecurity information for executive and nontechnical audiences.
- Partner with stakeholders, users, and communications teams to incorporate feedback and improve rollout and adoption.
