Job Description

We are seeking an engaging, technically fluent Technical Customer Experience Presenter to support a mobile technology experience showcasing modern manufacturing, automation, robotics, industrial AI, and manufacturing data solutions. This person will serve as the primary storyteller and customer-facing presenter during mobile experience center visits, industry events, and customer engagements across the United States. Think of this person as an expert trade-show booth tour guide rather than a traditional salesperson or keynote speaker. They need to quickly connect with plant managers, engineers, technical leaders, and account teams while translating complex technology into an approachable, connected story. The role does not require someone to be a hands-on automation engineer, developer, or robotics expert. Instead, the ideal candidate has enough technical aptitude to understand and confidently discuss automation, robotics, AI, manufacturing operations, and data, while knowing when to transition deeper technical questions to subject matter experts. Presentations can range from approximately 20-minute repeatable experiences to multi-hour customer engagements. The content is story-driven rather than a product-by-product presentation, showing customers the "art of the possible" through realistic manufacturing scenarios. The position requires approximately 70% U.S. travel, typically traveling Monday through Thursday, with non-travel time used for preparation, training, content development, and other internal projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a customer-facing presenter for a mobile manufacturing technology experience.
  • Deliver engaging, story-driven technology demonstrations ranging from approximately 20 minutes to several hours.
  • Present an "art of the possible" vision around the future of manufacturing and industrial technology.
  • Connect concepts across automation, robotics, AI, manufacturing operations, and factory data instead of presenting a disconnected list of products.
  • Tailor the presentation using different content blocks based on the customer and guidance from the account team.
  • Partner with sales/account teams before each engagement to understand the customer and desired conversation.
  • Conduct dry runs with account teams before customer presentations.
  • Build relationships with customers throughout the experience rather than simply delivering scripted presentations.
  • Answer appropriate technical questions and seamlessly transition deeper technical questions to technical SMEs.
  • Learn demo equipment well enough to confidently present and support the overall experience.
  • Assist with basic setup, teardown, and validation of screens and demonstration equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training around presentation content, manufacturing technology, robotics, automation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support customer sites, industry events, and larger technology events.
  • Support internal projects, content development, and preparation during non-travel periods.
