Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add a Technical Business Systems Analyst to their telecommunication client’s Service Activation organization. The project they are being brought on to support is call COAM (Customer Owned Machines) that allows customers to install their devices on their own. This person will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams within a modern, cloud-based environment. They will partner closely with product owners, solution architects, technical leads, developers, and QA teams to gather and analyze business requirements, use cases, and user stories and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements. They will work within environments leveraging AWS, microservices, REST APIs, SOAP web services, Splunk, and SQL, with responsibility for understanding system designs, integrations, dependencies, and data flows. They will support defect triage, troubleshooting, impact analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA), including reproducing issues in lower environments and partnering with development teams on resolution. They will use Splunk to analyze logs and system performance and SQL to investigate data issues, validate transformations, and support reporting and analysis. They will also collaborate on cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and RDS, contribute to technical documentation including process flows, data mappings, and interface specifications, and partner with technical teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML and intelligent automation, including anomaly detection, chatbots, recommendations, and predictive analytics.
