Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Tax Operations
• IRW expertise
• Change management skills
• Techno-functional documentation
• Strong understanding of data mapping, business processes, and decision modeling
• Strong SQL proficiency – complex queries, joins, tables
• Experience utilizing SAP Signavio, Drools rules engine, or similar tooling
• Testing experience (i.e. functional, regression, UAT testing)
• Ability to work firmwide (i.e., legal, engineering, operations, high level stakeholders)
• Strong communication skills and professionalism

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Tax Operations Consultant to join our financial services client. You will be joining a tax operations change management team that works firmwide on data mapping, business processes, and decision modeling as it relates to tax. We are looking for a teammate with IRW expertise, understanding of change management, ability to read/write complex SQL queries, utilize process mapping tools, and has strong techno-functional skills. This consultant will be working with business units firmwide including but not limited to legal, engineering, operations, and high-level stakeholders and must have professional communication. This is a long-term contract opportunity requiring 5 days onsite at our customer’s locations in New York or Salt Lake City.
