Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of progressive field management experience with a large-scale self-performing GC or concrete contractor

Self-perform concrete experience

Strong structural cast-in-place concrete experience

Experience leading and developing field/project teams

Experience managing projects valued over $1M

Strong knowledge of construction principles, manpower planning, and field execution

Ability to develop overall project plans and drive teams toward execution goals

Proven ability to plan and manage manpower and field resources based on project demands

Strong customer-facing communication and conflict-resolution skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering

Experience overseeing multiple structural concrete projects or project teams simultaneously

Experience with complex commercial and industrial structural/vertical concrete construction

Strong track record of developing Superintendents and other field leaders

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a General Superintendent - Structural Cast-in-Place Concrete for a top concrete construction client in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This candidate will provide senior field leadership across the local structural/vertical concrete operation, overseeing project teams, manpower planning, field execution, and customer relationships. The General Superintendent will partner closely with area leadership and multiple project teams to ensure structural cast-in-place concrete projects are properly planned, staffed, and executed. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of progressive field leadership experience with a self-performing concrete contractor or GC and a strong track record of leading teams on complex structural concrete projects.
