Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Staff Pharmacist for our client in Bloomington, IN. You will be overseeing daily pharmacy operations while ensuring prescriptions are processed accurately, patients receive excellent service, and pharmacy staff maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.

This position combines hands-on pharmacist responsibilities with oversight of pharmacy workflow. The Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, support and guide Pharmacy Technicians, respond to patient and referral-source questions, resolve customer concerns, and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained throughout all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and help manage daily pharmacy activities and workflow.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy before medications are dispensed to patients.
• Ensure prescriptions prepared and filled by Pharmacy Technicians are accurate prior to leaving the pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions and package medications according to physician orders and applicable pharmacy requirements.
• Respond promptly and professionally to questions from patients, customers, and referral sources, both in person and over the phone.
• Provide appropriate medication and prescription-related information within the pharmacist's professional scope.
• Address customer concerns and complaints by identifying the issue and coordinating the appropriate resolution.
• Maintain clear and complete documentation regarding customer complaints and their resolution.
