Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of professional full-stack software development experience Strong C# and .NET experience building ASP.NET Core Web APIs, including dependency injection, layered architecture and async/await Hands-on Entity Framework Core and SQL Server experience: code-first migrations, query performance tuning, writing T-SQL and reading execution plans Strong Angular and TypeScript experience, including NgModule-based apps, routing and RxJS Experience with ag-Grid, or a similar enterprise data grid, including custom cell editors and renderers Unit testing with MSTest and Moq (or similar) and Jasmine/Karma Ability to get productive quickly in a large existing codebase Ability to work directly with scientists and other non-technical users and turn their needs into working software

Microsoft Azure: Entra ID (Azure AD) authentication with MSAL and JWT, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Blob and Table Storage, Cosmos DB and Application Insights Integrating with external systems through REST and OData APIs, with retries, timeouts and idempotency in background jobs Generating API clients from OpenAPI/Swagger (for example NSwag) Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Octopus Deploy and Git pull-request workflows Nice to have

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer who will be working in a scrum environment working in heavily on the back end using .NET 7, REST API, Entity Framework, MS SQL and Azure. The team is working on an application where they have created from scratch and will be deploying it this year. We are looking for a candidate who is a continuous learner and who is a self-starter. This opportunity is for the largest Agriculture company that we partner with and is set to be a 12-month contract. Upon submission to our client we will need two professional references complete. We are targeting an hourly rate of $53-54/hr
