Sr Quality Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

5–8+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or DoD Strong background working with electronic or electrical hardware Experience owning quality activities across the full lifecycle of a product or program Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 Experience with FAI, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, FMEA, and SPC Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into actionable quality requirements Experience partnering directly with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience Comfortable taking the lead, driving follow-up, and holding cross-functional teams accountable

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with mechanical or optical hardware Background supporting space systems, lasers, RF, sensors, or directed-energy technology Experience at similar aerospace/defense environment Knowledge of MRB, APQP, Six Sigma/DMAIC, Lean, or supplier quality Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or GD&T Previous experience mentoring engineers or acting as a senior quality/program lead
