Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager for a top insurance industry client. This individual will own enterprise application initiatives from initial intake through implementation and transition to long-term support, serving as the primary connection between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Responsibilities include independently eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements, developing process flows and project deliverables, defining scope, identifying impacted teams and dependencies, and translating business needs into actionable project plans. The Sr. IT PM will lead new application implementations, system enhancements, and feature rollouts while driving stakeholder communications and change management across business, IT, infrastructure, operations, and other impacted groups. This person will also coordinate vendor evaluations, demos, selection, onboarding, and compliance-related activities, partnering with teams such as Vendor Management, Legal, Risk, and Compliance as needed. Once solutions are selected, they will work closely with third-party implementation partners to manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies, knowing when to collaborate, push for action, or escalate issues to maintain momentum. The ideal candidate is a senior, self-directed project leader who can bring structure to complex environments, proactively uncover gaps and missing context, connect stakeholders, and maintain accountability through successful delivery.
