Job Description
The Senior Integration QA Engineer will lead integration-focused quality engineering for HP Project Trinity, validating how the Android OS platform, PV application, SDK, Web UI, APIs, and HP-provided video experience work together on Poly 5.x devices. Project Trinity brings HP PolyApp to its target state on PolyOS 5.x, moving from the legacy PolyOS 4.x application on Android 11 to the new PolyOS 5.x application on Android 13.
This individual will define integration test strategy, design end-to-end and cross-component test scenarios, execute manual and automated testing, investigate failures across component boundaries, and provide quality and release-readiness insight to Project Trinity leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Define the integration test strategy for Project Trinity across OS, application, SDK, Web UI, API, and video-experience components
- Design end-to-end and cross-component test scenarios, including positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases
- Validate integration with the HP-provided Poly video experience against the agreed interface contract
- Validate Microsoft Teams mode behavior and re-enabled Zoom and Google Meet provider support on PolyOS 5.x
- Validate PolyOS 5.x feature parity against PolyOS 4.x baseline behavior
- Execute manual and automated integration and system tests on Poly devices
- Develop and maintain automated integration tests and reusable test assets
- Investigate failures and distinguish product defects from environment, configuration, data, or automation issues
- Lead integration defect triage with developers and technical leads
- Coordinate test environments, devices, builds, and test data needed for integration testing
- Report test progress, coverage, quality risks, and release-readiness observations
- Mentor U.S. and India-based QA engineers and review their test design and automation work
- Coordinate with any HP-provided QA resources to align coverage and avoid duplication
This role is onsite 5 days a week in Austin, TX.
