Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategy & Insights, Commercial Analytics, or a similar analytics-focused role within a large enterprise environment. Strong expertise with Power BI, including dashboard development, KPI design, reporting strategy, data visualization, and data modeling concepts. Experience translating complex business questions into actionable insights, recommendations, reporting requirements, and executive-level presentations. Working knowledge of SQL and DAX with the ability to partner effectively with data engineering and IT teams, validate outputs, and guide analytics solutions. Hands-on experience leveraging Generative AI for business insights, use case identification, solution validation, and analytics-driven decision support.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or Commercial Operations organizations, including Promotional Review (MLR), Marketing Operations, Event Management, or Sampling. Knowledge of Veeva PromoMats, Tableau, Qlik, Jira, or other enterprise reporting and workflow management tools.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategy & Insights to support a leading pharmaceutical client’s reporting, analytics, and innovation initiatives across Promotional Review, Event Management, Samples, and Marketing Operations. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, Strategy & Insights leadership, and IT teams to translate business challenges into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing business performance, identifying trends and opportunities, developing executive-ready insights and recommendations, defining KPI and reporting requirements, supporting Power BI dashboard enhancements, validating analytics solutions, and driving continuous improvement across reporting capabilities. The Senior Analyst will also help identify and operationalize Generative AI use cases, collaborate with technical teams on AI-enabled analytics solutions, and present actionable recommendations that support strategic business decision-making across multiple functional areas.
