Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to own strategic sourcing initiatives across the Professional Services category. This person will manage sourcing engagements from initial business requirements through supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, contracting, and execution. The ideal candidate has directly sourced services such as consulting, advisory, Finance, HR, M&A-related services, subscriptions/data services, agencies, or other professional services and understands how to negotiate complex service engagements rather than simply purchase products. This role will work closely with stakeholders in the U.S. and other global markets, so strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate independently in a large global organization are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end strategic sourcing for Professional Services categories.
- Meet with business stakeholders to understand requirements, scope, budgets, timelines, and supplier needs.
- Develop category and sourcing strategies and identify qualified suppliers.
- Lead RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, and competitive sourcing events.
- Negotiate SOWs, rate cards, pricing models, SLAs, renewals, amendments, and commercial terms.
- Analyze supplier spend, proposals, market data, pricing, risk, and supplier capabilities.
- Build financial models and evaluate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) using Excel.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Contracts, and business teams to move sourcing initiatives through completion.
- Present sourcing recommendations and commercial options to senior stakeholders.
- Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and approximately 10–15 stakeholders across projects.
- Identify measurable savings, supplier-performance improvements, and other business outcomes.
- Support supplier evaluation, selection, onboarding, and ongoing supplier management.
- Adjust sourcing strategies when requirements, budgets, scope, or timelines change.
