Job Description

Bank of America is building out a development team in Charlotte, NC focused on creating and integrating API-based applications and services. This role is highly hands-on and will support end-to-end application development across Python, Java, REST APIs, infrastructure automation, and enterprise integrations. The team is looking for developers who can do more than speak conceptually about the technologies. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience building applications, APIs, integrations, and automation within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support REST APIs and microservices using Python and Java Build Python-based applications and APIs using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF) Develop Java-based services and integrations within a microservices environment Support end-to-end integration between API services and other enterprise systems Integrate applications and services with Terraform and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Work hands-on with Terraform, including Terraform providers and infrastructure automation Utilize Red Hat Ansible for configuration and automation-related development Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven or messaging-based integrations Develop and execute Oracle database queries and stored procedures Troubleshoot integration points across multiple applications, systems, and services Contribute to the development of new applications and services within the Charlotte-based team
